The parents of your patients have access to their child's digital Baby Book on the NowServing app.

If a parent has more than one child under your care, they can move between their children's Baby Books by tapping the child's name at the top of the screen and picking another profile.

Who gets the Baby Book feature?
Your patients get Baby Book automatically if you have Pediatrics in your specialty. That includes the pediatric sub-specialties, for example Pediatrics - Adolescent and Pediatrics - Developmental & Behavioral. As long as Pediatrics is in there, it turns on for them. There is nothing you need to switch on.

Vaccines
Whenever you record a vaccine in the patient's chart, it shows up in the parent's Baby Book.
On your end, go to the patient's record, then Records > Create New Record > Immunization / Vaccination.
Everything you have recorded shows under History > Immunization / Vaccination.
On the parent's end, the same vaccines appear in the Baby Book, grouped by age. Doses still due are flagged in red as overdue.
The schedule follows the Philippine Pediatric Society Immunization Calendar.
They can tap a specific vaccine to see the date and the doctor who administered it.
Parents cannot edit what you record
Anything you add or mark is locked on their side, and the app tells them so: "This vaccination record has been marked by your doctor and can no longer be modified."
When parents add vaccines themselves
Parents can record vaccines their child received somewhere else, in case they got their shots from a different doctor or clinic.
To send those to you, they tap the share icon at the top of the Vaccines screen, then Send to Doctor.
It arrives in your Messages as a "Shared immunization record." Tap View immunization to see what they sent.
Tick the vaccines you want, then tap Import Vaccines to add them to the patient's record.
What a parent shares does not go into the chart on its own. It stays in Messages until you act on it. Either import it with the steps above, or skip the import and encode the updates yourself through Records > Create New Record > Immunization / Vaccination.
Growth Charts
The vitals you encode also appear on the parent's side, so you and the parent are looking at the same growth chart.
On your end, open the patient's record, go to Vitals, then Growth.
On the parent's end, they can switch between Height and Weight, and they see:
their child's plotted points on the chart
the percentile for each measurement
a plain-language reading of whether that is healthy or not
The reference lines follow the WHO growth standards, the same ones behind the chart on your side.
Parents can also add their own measurements through the Add button under Growth History. They fill in the date, weight and height, and the app computes the BMI.
These entries stay on their side for personal tracking. They will not reflect on your end, and unlike vaccines, parents cannot send growth measurements over to you.

Growth Milestones
Your patient's parent can also track their baby's growth milestones. This shows as Milestone Progress on their Baby Book home screen, with a progress bar for each category. Tapping it opens the full list, where they tick off items by age bracket across Social/Emotional, Communication, Cognitive and Movement.
This one is for the parent's personal tracking only. You will not see it on your end. There is a Growth Milestones section on your side as well, but the two do not sync. What the parent ticks off in the app stays in the app.
