Adding and verifying your specialty not only ensures that you’re listed accurately but also enhances your credibility and visibility within the SeriousMD community and on NowServing. 💪🏻
Here’s a quick guide on adding and verifying your specialty in your SeriousMD account.
Step 1: Verify Your PRC ID
Before adding a specialty, you'll need to ensure your PRC license is validated.
Go to My Profile > PRC Validator
Upload your most updated PRC ID if you haven't done so yet.
Select the correct license type from the dropdown then Save
Step 2: Add your Main Specialty and Sub-specialties
Go to My Profile > Specialty
Add your Main Specialty and Subspecialty from the dropdown list
After selection, you'll see the status of your specialty marked as Pending under the Certifications area.
Step 3: Upload Your Proof of Certification/Specialty
To verify your specialty, click Upload File and choose a valid certificate or proof of your specialty. Please note that your PRC license alone is not sufficient as proof for a specialty.
Once the verification process is complete, you'll appear under that specialty category, making it easier for patients to find you based on your expertise.
