How to collect patient feedback

Here's how you can easily collect patient feedback after your consultations

Patients can rate your consultation and leave feedback through the NowServing app, but only after you mark their consult as Completed in SeriousMD.

If you skip this step, the patient never gets prompted, and you won't receive any feedbacks.

Here's how it works.

Step 1: Mark the consult as Completed

When you're done seeing the patient, open their profile in SeriousMD. At the top, you'll see the appointment status (for example, QUEUED – Today at [Your Clinic]).

Click the status, then select Completed from the dropdown.

  • Completed ← select this when the consultation is finished

That's the only action that triggers a feedback request. No extra setup needed.

Step 2: The patient gets prompted to leave feedback

Once you tap Completed, the patient is notified through:

  • A pop-up inside the NowServing app

  • There's also an accompanying SMS and push notification

They can rate the consultation and leave feedback whenever they're ready.

Do I have to do anything besides tap Completed?

No. Marking the consult as Completed is the only step. The app handles the rest.

What if I forget to mark it Completed?

The patient won't be asked to leave feedback. Make it a habit to mark every consult as Completed when you're done so you don't miss out on feedback.

Will these feedbacks be shown publicly on my profile?

No. It's not yet shown in your public profile. Your patient feedback is currently private to you.

Can I reply to a feedback?

Not at this time. Feedbacks are for your own reference.
