Think of the Billing section as your digital logbook.
It helps you record and track payments—whether they’re paid in-person, online, or through HMOs—all in one place.

Manual Billing – Create detailed, itemized bills
Online Billing – Send bills via SMS, email, or NowServing for online payment
Quick Bill – Best for fast, routine consultations

🧾 How to Manually Bill a Patient
There are 3 ways to create a manual bill.
📁 1. From the Patient Profile
Open the patient’s record
Click the Bill (₱) icon on the top-right
Add the services provided
Choose an action:
Save Bill – to save for later
Save & Settle – to mark as paid
📋 2. From the Queue
Click the (...) icon beside the patient’s name
Select Create Itemized Bill
Add services and choose an action (Save or Settle)
💳 3. From the Billing Tab
Go to the Billing tab
Click New Bill
Select a patient
Add services and choose an action (Save, Settle, or Send)
⚡ 4. From Quick Bill → Full Billing [Billing 2.0]
Click Complete Appointment
Click Go to Full Billing Mode
Add services and choose an action (Save or Settle)
📲 How to Send an Online Bill
Make it easy for patients to pay digitally.
Create the bill as usual
Click Save & Send to Patient
The patient will get the bill via:
SMS
Email (if available)
NowServing app
They can settle the bill online—quick and hassle-free!
⚠️ Note: The Save & Send to Patient button only appears if the patient has a mobile number on file.
📲 How to Bill Using Quick Bill
✅ Basic Quick Bill Flow (Manual Entry)
Use this if you're charging a custom, one-off amount without itemized services:
Mark the consultation as Complete
Enter the manual amount
Click Confirm Billing
🧾 Services Quick Bill Flow (Using Favorites)
Use this if you're billing for specific services from your catalog:
Mark the consultation as Complete
Click on the text field to search or select a service

Select the service you want to charge
Want to add more services? Just select them again
Review your itemized bill to ensure everything is correct
Click Confirm Billing
Customizing Quick Bill Preset Amounts
Speed things up even more by setting a default consultation fee.
💡 How to Set or Edit a Preset Fee
Go to Settings > Billing Settings > General Settings (or click [here])
Scroll to the Quick Bill Settings section
Choose between Quick Setup or Advanced Setup
Quick Setup
Enter your typical consultation fee
Advanced Setup
Select a ⭐ favorite item for your Consultation and HMO PresetClick Save
✅ How Bills Are Settled
📝 For Saved Bills (Patient hasn’t paid yet)
Go to the Billing tab
Filter by Unsettled to find the bill
Click Settle once payment is received
💰 For Save & Settle Bills (Patient already paid)
No action needed — the bill is already marked as settled.
🌐 Online Bills
Online bills are settled only after the patient pays online.
You’ll get a notification from SMDBot in your Messages once payment is completed.
Until then, the bill will remain unsettled.

⚡ Quick Bills
After creating a Quick Bill, the Manual Settle window will automatically pop up.
💵 Manual Payment
Click (...) > Show Bill
Select any payment method (e.g. Cash, Bank Transfer, GCash, or others—except Online Payment or QRPH)
Click Confirm to log the payment

✅ QRPH Payment
Click (...) > Show Bill
Tap QRPH
Show the QR code to the patient
Patient pays via e-wallet or bank app
✅ Status updates automatically once payment is received (if synced)
🌐 Online Payment
Click (...) > Show Bill
Tap Payment Link to generate a link and QR code
Patient can scan or click the link to pay online
✅ Status updates automatically once payment is received (if synced)
