It feels magical to see that bank payments automatically reflect and match your patient’s bill. In this article, we’ll break down how this is done.

In a nutshell, we receive a notification anytime a payment is made into your Asenso bank account as part of our integration. Based on this integration, we will match a payment if it meets the following criteria:

  • Payment is made on the same day as the bill

  • Payment is made in the correct clinic

  • Payment amount is the amount billed

  • Payee last name matches patient’s last name

Once these 4 criteria are fulfilled, we automatically match that payment to the bill.

This is why it’s important for you to always enter the bill amount after every consultation. Without it, you’ll have to manually match the payment. 😭

There will be cases when we cannot match a QRPH transaction. For example, if someone else made the payment on behalf of the patient, or if the payment amount is different. Worry not! We have a way for you to manually match these transactions.

Step 1: Under Billing & HMO, we created a new tab called “Bank Transfers”. You may click on any of the UNMATCHED transactions for manually match.

Step 2: A pop up will show the list of your patients, just select the patient you want to match this bill to:

Step 3: Confirm this is the match you want

Step 4: Press PROCEED.

Step 5: And that’s it! You may now check the status page. It will show that the payment is now matched.
