You can easily attach a PDF or a video clip by using the Attachment note type in the Notes tab. 

If you are using an iOS device, just put the files you need in the Files App as that is what Apple uses for managing files. Then open the SeriousMD app, go to the Notes tab and add the PDF or video using the "Files" note type.
