Troubleshooting a slow printing issue with an HP Smart Tank printer involves investigating various factors that could contribute to the problem. One possible reason is what is set as the paper type in your HP printer settings.
Open the HP Smart App
2. On the app, click the printer icon
3. Click Advanced Settings
4. Your browser will open to HP's EWS (Embeddable Web Server).
Click on Settings > Preferences Tray and Paper Management
5. Make sure that Paper Type is set to Plain Paper then Save.
Sometimes the paper type is set to Photo Paper by default which slows down the printing significantly.
6. Make sure to save then try to print again.
