If our system detects that you’re logging in from an international location, you’ll be asked to enter a One-Time Password (OTP) for extra security. This step helps protect your account from unauthorized access.
To make your international logins simpler, you can add your frequently used devices (e.g., laptop, phone, tablet) to your Trusted Devices list. Once added, you won’t need to enter an OTP when logging in from that specific device abroad.
How to Add a Trusted Device:
Step 1: Go to Settings in your SeriousMD account via web
Step 2: Navigate to Security > Trusted Devices. You can also directly access this section via: https://seriousmd.com/doctor/app/settings/security/trusted-devices
Step 3: Click the "Trust This Device" button.
Step 4: A new window will appear. Simply add a recognizable name for your device (e.g., "My Clinic Laptop," "Personal iPhone") and enter your account password to confirm.
Once added, SeriousMD will remember this device, and you’ll be able to log in abroad without the extra OTP step.
✅ Tip: Only add personal or secure devices to your Trusted Devices list. Avoid adding public or shared devices for your safety.
