A Security Code now appears below your footer.

For example, if a patient submits a medical certificate to their employer, all the employer has to do is scan the QR code to confirm authenticity.Digital copy for patients
Patients can also use the QR code to save a secure digital copy of their document.Convenient rebooking
The digital page also provides your patients with an option to book another appointment with you.
Security Code vs. QR Code
Security Code
A unique code generated for each document.
If your document only shows the Security Code, you (or the verifier) can go to:
https://qr.seriousmd.com/public/<insert security code here>
This will display the document you issued.
Note: Make sure to enter the code with small letters with no dash
QR Code
Available if you are using a system footer.
Scanning the QR code will take you directly to the same page that verifies the document.
👉 If you are using a custom footer, only the Security Code will appear by default.
Can I add a QR Code to my custom footer?
Yes! Just message the Support Team and we’ll set it up for you.

FAQs
1. Can the size of the QR code be adjusted?
No, the QR code size is fixed. The size and density of a QR code depend on the amount of data it contains. In this case, the QR code leads to a secure link that allows verification of the document (whether it’s a prescription, lab request, or medical certificate).
Since the link is intentionally long and complex, it carries more data.
2. Will the QR code show up for custom forms?
No, the QR code does not appear on custom forms.
3. I’m using a custom footer. How can I add the QR code?
Send us a message and we’ll help configure it for you.
4. Can I remove the security code at the bottom of the page?
This is automatically included and cannot be removed under system footers.
Custom footers do not have the QR code automatically affixed.
