🧾 Create an HMO Bill - Quick Bill Flow
Need to bill an HMO payment quickly? This is the fastest way to do it right after a consultation.
Mark the consultation as Complete.
In the Quick Bill modal, choose HMO as the payment type.
Select the HMO provider from the list—and you’re done! 🎉
🔎 HMO LOA Tracker Dashboard
After creating an HMO bill, you can track and manage all your claims in one place using the LOA Tracker Dashboard.
This dashboard gives you a clear and centralized view of your HMO billing workflow.
⚠️ LOA Submissions is only for HMOs that SeriousMD has direct integration with (currently just Kaiser and Medicard). Click here if you want to know more about HMO Integration.
📥 Uploading the LOA Document
Here’s how to upload a finished LOA file to a bill:
Find the bill you want to update.
Click the upload icon.
Press Upload LOA and select the correct LOA file from your device and upload it.
Hit Done—and you’re good to go!
Once payment is received, you can click Settle to mark the bill as completed. ✅
💡Tip: To make searching for the bill easier, you can 1) Search for the patient’s name. 2) Filter by Date. 3) Filter by HMO>
🧠 Common Scenarios You Might Encounter
The LOA Statement Date is Different
Maybe the consultation happened a few days before or after the official LOA date.
‼️ Just make sure the date on file matches the LOA document—even if it’s different from the consult date.
You Want to Update the LOA Document
If you uploaded the wrong or an unfinished LOA file or need to make changes, simply go to the bill in the LOA Tracker Dashboard, click on the ✅icon, upload the correct file, and save your changes.
