How can my patient book an appointment with me online using a browser?
As a patient, whether they want to set an appointment with you for a face-to-face or virtual consultation, they can now do it online! Yes! You read it right! Booking an appointment with you has never been easier!
Here’s a step by step guide on how your patients can have a hassle free appointment booking:
The patient can find your SeriousMD page in a number of ways.
- Patient gets the link from you or your secretary
- Patient sees the link from social media or other channels (Your SeriousMD page also has social sharing links that your patients can use to recommend you!)
- Patient searches your name in Google and sees your SeriousMD page
On your webpage, the patient must click the “Book Appointment” button.
They will select what type of consultation they want to request and the date.
***If it’s a clinic visit, they have the option to choose the most convenient clinic for them
They will then click the box and then click continue.
They must fill out the necessary details and click submit.
Now they await your confirmation.
A download link was sent to your patient’s phone/email.
They must click the link to download the Now Serving app to communicate with you.
How can my patient book an appointment with me online using the Now Serving app?
For now, only existing patients that are linked to your SeriousMD account can request for an appointment through the Now Serving app.
The patient taps the Book button or just taps on the “Schedules” tab.
The patient will choose whether the appointment he wants is for a clinic visit or a virtual consult.
The patient can then pick a preferred schedule. That's it.
A request will be then sent to your SeriousMD account for you to accept/decline the patient’s appointment request.
How do I accept/decline my appointment requests?
When a patient requests an appointment with you. You will be notified through your email.
You can accept the new patient in the Appointment Request area of your Appointments screen.
On your Appointment dashboard, click on the calendar icon.
A dialogue box will appear where you can see all the pending appointment requests booked by your patients.
From this, you can either accept, confirm or reject the request by clicking the appropriate buttons.
