How can my patient book an appointment with me online using a browser?
As a patient, whether they want to set an appointment with you for a face-to-face or virtual consultation, they can now do it online! Yes! You read it right! Booking an appointment with you has never been easier!
Here’s a step by step guide on how your patients can have a hassle free appointment booking:
The patient can find your SeriousMD page in a number of ways.
- Patient gets the link from you or your secretary
- Patient scans your SeriousMD QR code
- Patient sees the link from social media or other channels (Your SeriousMD page also has social sharing links that your patients can use to recommend you!)
- Patient searches your name in Google and sees your SeriousMD page
On your webpage, the patient must click the “Book Appointment” button.
They will select what type of consultation they want to request and the date.
***If it’s a clinic visit, they have the option to choose the most convenient clinic for them
They will need to click the checkbox to agree to the terms and then click continue.
They must fill out the necessary details and click submit.
Once submitted, the booking page will ask for an OTP to verify the mobile number entered. This prevents the patient from using fake numbers which is directly related to failed virtual calls.
Now they await your confirmation.
A download link will be sent to your patient’s phone/email.
They must click the link and download the Now Serving app. They can login to prepare the app so that it's ready when you accept the booking.
How can my patient book an appointment with me online using the Now Serving app?
If the patient is new and doesn't have a doctor yet, tap Find a Doctor and select the doctor.
If the patient already booked an appointment with a doctor before. The patient simply taps the Book button on their “Doctors” tab.
The patient will choose whether the appointment he wants is for a clinic visit or a virtual consult.
The patient can then pick a preferred schedule. That's it.
A request will be then sent to your SeriousMD account for you to accept/reschedule/decline the patient’s appointment request.
How do I accept/decline my appointment requests?
When a patient requests an appointment with you. You will be notified through your email and SMS (if you entered your mobile number in your profile) and SMDBot Messages area.
On your Dashboard OR Appointments screen, click on the calendar icon.
You can see all the pending appointment requests booked by your patients.
From this, you can either accept, reschedule or reject the request by clicking the appropriate buttons.
The patient will automatically be sent an SMS and/or email about the booking.
