Depending on your Paypal account, the default currency might be set to $ USD.

SeriousMD uses a Philippine Peso currency by default. During the payment process for your SeriousMD Pro Subscription, Paypal would offer to change currency to Philippine Peso instead of using your Paypal account's default $ USD currency.

If you did not opt to change the currency, your credit card company will convert the $ USD to Philippine Peso in your bank statement. Due to currency exchange, it will be a little bit more than the amount of the actual plan in Peso.

As an alternative option, here's what we suggest to do with your existing Paypal account before subscribing to SeriousMD Pro.

For existing Personal Paypal account:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.

  2. Click Money at the top of the page.

  3. Click Manage Currency.

  4. Choose the Peso currency to make Primary

  5. Click Make Primary.

For existing Business Paypal account:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.

  2. Click your account > Account Settings

  3. Under Business Profile, go to Money, banks and cards

  4. Under Currency Management, choose the Peso currency and click on the more options icon

5. Click Make Primary.

6. Optional: For your USD account, click Close currency
