If you already have a purchased domain or want to use your own domain with the NowServing Sites feature, please update the A record in your domain settings.

Here are instructions for 2 of the more popular domain registrars. If you registrar is not on the list, the instructions are pretty similar.

For Godaddy:

Step 1. Log in to your GoDaddy Domain Control Center. Select your domain to access the Domain Settings page.

Step 2. Under Additional Settings, select Manage DNS.

Step 3. Select Add under the records table.

Under Type, select A.

Step 4. You will now enter the details for your A record:

  • Host: The host name the A record links to. Type @ to point directly to your domain name. (see image below)
  • Points to: Copy this and paste it there 3.13.192.206
  • Select Save to save your new A record.

Step 5. Repeat Step 3 and click Add

Step 6. Under Type, select CNAME

Step 7. You will now enter the details for your CNAME

  • Host: type in www
  • Points to: type in your domain name. For example: drsite.com
  • Click Save

Wait 24-48 hours to propagate properly.


For Namecheap:

Step 1: Go to your list of domains

Step 2: Click your domain name

Step 3: Click "Advanced DNS"

Step 4: Click Add New Record

  • Under Type: Select "A Record"
  • Under Host: type @
  • Under Value: type 3.13.192.206
  • Click the Checkmark icon to save

Step 5: Click Add New Record

  • Under Type: Select CNAME Record
  • Under Host: type in www
  • Under Value: type your domain's name (Example: yourdomainmd.com)
  • Click the Checkmark icon to save

Wait 24-48 hours to propagate properly.
